I'm really bored.

I have a newfound respect for anybody that has ever made a fanvid. that shit takes work! I've been at it this all day and part of wednesday and I've got about three minutes done, about 80% of which I'm satisfied with. The first thirty seconds are the best. I've got about two minutes and twenty seconds of song left and NO IDEA what to do with them. Not a damn clue. Anja I couldn't have done half of it without the stuff you sent me, thank you so very much.

I think I might get about thirty more seconds or so done and then give up till Monday. Robert is getting on my nerves, he won't cooperate. 

Also 2/3 roommates are gone and I'm not entirely sure what the hell I'm doing tonight. It's friday..when did this happen? This is the girl that used to accidentally over-book herself with stuff to do. Oh well, c'es la vie.  

Tonight I get to go to a fancy restaurant  called Sol y Luna with my mom and all her writer friends for cinco de mayo drinks. One of them used to be a music journalist in Nashville and she's gonna talk to me about writing and all that fun stuff.

Tomorrow night is LEZ ZEPPELIN. I've wanted to see them forever and I'm really psyched about it. My friends have promised to keep me from trying to do anything inappropriate with the guitarist. It's not my fault though...she wears DRAGON SUITS AND PLAYS A DOUBLE NECK, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RESIST THAT? IT'S CLOSE ENOUGH, RIGHT? I'm kidding. Yeah...

 



Also this weekend there's a thing where the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and some random guest stars will be preforming nothing but Zeppelin saturday night. My mommy and I are going for mother's day. 

This is the venue where they will be playing. It's called Sloss Furnace and it used to me a major steel mill. Really cool place.

I dunno how I feel about the Hawaiian shirt but Robert is wearing an anklet. Mr. Ertegun appears to be having a good time.

I love my Jimmy more than I can say, I'll be so proud of that little zoso. It's gonna be on my right wrist. I'm such a weenie, I know its gonna hurt like hell. Only for Zeppelin. Maybe one day I'll get the other three symbols all the way down my forearm.

The Killers' Brandon Flowers has blamed Nirvana and Kurt Cobain for making rock music depressing. Despite the seminal grunge frontman dying almost 15 years ago to the day (he took his life on April 5, 1994), Flowers lambasted Cobain. "I don't mean it in a bad way but I think Kurt Cobain and grunge took the fun out of rock and roll," he said. However, Flowers says that he thinks his band is now making American music "a lot more playful and brighter" (Daily Star).
